Transplant Sport Swimming Day

Transplant Sport are excited to announce we will be holding a Swimming Camp on 27th March

This will take place at Radley College in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Places are limited to 36 people attending, you must be 14 or over to take part and you must be a competent swimmer. The session will involve some technical and skills work, some training sets and work on diving/ turns. Training will take place in the pool led by Liam Barnett and Jodie Cox and on land led by Chris Holmes.

Schedule:

9.00 to 10.30am: Registration & Lateral flow testing

10.30am to 12.30pm: Swimming training session

12.30pm to 2.00pm: Lunch (bring your own, in the basketball hall)

2.00pm to 3.00pm: Land training in the sports hall

Spectators

There is limited room for spectators so we are limiting 1 spectator to each participant. Spectators need to register here to attend the event. Spectators will be required to follow the Covid-19 measures in place and will have to wear a mask inside, unless exempt.

Covid-19 Measures

For the safety and well being of all attending, please follow the Covid-19 requirements that have been put in place:

1. Participants 14+ only (Age >14).
2. ALL participants and supporters will need to be fully vaccinated to their designated level and produce a copy of their vaccine passport downloaded from the NHS app at registration of each event.
3. ALL participants and supporters will need to provide a negative COVID Lateral Flow Test on Saturday 26th March, documented on the NHS App.
4. ALL participants and supporters will need to have a lateral flow test at registration on the day of the event.

To take part you will need to be a member of Transplant Sport, if you are not a member you can Join at the top of this page and complete the medical form in ‘My Account’

If you are a member, you need to login through the Member Login and complete the medical form in the ‘My Account’ section of the website.

By completing the medical from you confirm that it is completed with accurate information.

Should it be found that you have used false information Transplant Sport, its Trustees and MLS cannot be held liable, and you, the individual will be deemed to have not taken the steps necessary to ensure you were fit to participate.

All competitors must submit an online  medical form by Friday 11th March.
