Saturday 18 May - Kendal Snowsports Club. 

Sunday 19 May - South Lakeland Leisure Centre.

Book early as places for some activities are limited.

Who can participate:

This event is designed for children with transplants, their siblings and the children of parents who have had a transplant. You can join us for activities on Saturday late morning, Saturday afternoon, and/or all day Sunday. You can come for all our sessions or just come for one or two sessions. Whatever works for you! 

Activities & Timings:

Morning arrival time is 11am and the activity is skiing or boarding at Kendal Snowsports Club on their outdoor course. We don't need snow to do this! This activity is both for absolute beginners and for those with some experience - but please let us know in advance your level of experience. 

Saturday afternoon is a tubing session. This involves riding a slope while sitting on a tube and is great fun. If you're not sure what tubing is then watch this video.

All skiers, boarders and tubers will need to have long sleeves, trousers (without trendy holes!) and a pair of gloves (with fingers). Ideally clothing should be waterproof. Helmets and equipment will be provided. 

These activities are suitable for age 6 and above and numbers are limited to 30.

Sunday is at the leisure centre with a wide range of activities as well as snacks and drinks at lunchtime. Activities will include: Aprivate eliminator session in the pool, wheels for all adapted cycles, Table tennis, Team games and a Bouncy castle. These activities can be open to all ages with a maximum number of 60. 

Activities and lunches are free.

If you stay overnight on Saturday, you will need to find and pay for your own accommodation and dinner on Sat night. 

Information on how to get to the centres and start and finish times and more detail of activities will be provided nearer the weekend.
