Transplant Sport Kids & Teens Weekend – April 26th/27th – Kendal, Cumbria
Kendal Organ Donor Town are delighted to offer once again a Kids & Teens weekend event to take place in Kendal, Cumbria on Sat 26th and Sun 27th April 2025.
Saturday will be at Kendal Ski Club who once again are donating their facilities and staff to enable Transplant kids and their siblings to enjoy free ski sessions on their dry ski slope. In the afternoon there will also be tubing for all the family.
Sunday morning will be at the Kendal Leisure Centre where there will be a mix of activities available in the pool and sports hall. This will be supported by Transplant Sport so that there is no charge for those taking part. Please note that although these events are free for participants there is a cost implication if you are unable to attend and also due to constraints on numbers at the ski club it is necessary to advise us if you are unable to attend in order to avoid disappointment for others.
Lunch on both days will be sponsored by Kendal Organ Donor Town and the event will finish after lunch on Sunday to allow people plenty of time to travel home.
Information on local accommodation can be provided although this cost will not be covered.
If you are interested in attending please contact the TS Office with details of the children who wish to participate, their age on 26th April 2025, and any special dietary requirements.
