Transplant Sport Kids & Teens Weekend – May 27th/28th – Kendal, Cumbria Kendal Organ Donor Town are delighted to offer once again a Kids & Teens weekend event to take place in Kendal, Cumbria on Sat 27th and Sun 28th May 2023. Saturday will be at Kendal Ski Club who once again are donating their facilities and staff to enable Transplant kids and their siblings to enjoy free ski sessions on their dry ski slope. In the afternoon there will also be tubing for all the family this will start at 10.30am. Sunday morning will be at the Lakeland Climbing Centre in Kendal where you will be able to experience a mixture of Crazy Climb and Bouldering under the instruction of the Kendal Climbing wall staff. This will be supported by Transplant Sport so that there is no charge for those taking part this will start at 10am. You can find more information on Kendal Wall at https://lakelandclimbingcentres.co.uk/centre/kendalwall/ Lunch on both days will be sponsored by Kendal Organ Donor Town and the event will finish after lunch on Sunday to allow people plenty of time to travel home. Information on local accommodation can be provided although this cost will not be covered. If you are interested in attending please contact office@transplantsport.org.uk with details of the children who wish to participate, their age on 27th May 2023, and any special dietary requirements. Please be aware for children to join in with the Skiing activities they will need to be aged between 6 - 18 yrs old & for the Climbing activities they will need to be aged between 5 - 18 yrs old.
