I hope you have all been inspired by the Summer of Sport 2021; from the build-up and tension of the Euros 2020 through the classical nail-biting finals at Wimbledon and now the daily dose of Tokyo 2020. Sport is back, I know it has been a really tough 18 months for you all and your families. Shielding with its tough restrictions in the Spring of 2020, a brief reprieve last summer and then COVID hit back in the winter of 2020-21. We had no choice but to make the heart-breaking decision to suspend all TS events since March 2020.
TRANSPLANT SPORT IS BACK
Now it is time to carefully and slowly restart TS events, working carefully to make the events as safe as possible. We realise how disabling the isolation of the last year has been and are eager to get you together again to share stories and experiences and rekindle peer support.TRANSPLANT SPORT = TRANSPLANT SUPPORT
We plan to run two test TS satellite events in September 2021 which are a step towards bigger and greater events in 2022. We are restricting numbers, incorporating COVID screening and testing and social distancing to create a friendly safe environment. The first two events are both outdoors to minimise risk and are:- TS 6 a-side Football Competition on Sunday September 12th in Bicester, Oxfordshire. This tournament is limited to 60 participants on a first come first serve basis. TS Golf competition on Tuesday September 28th at Sandwell Park Golf Course, West Bromwich.COVID REGULATIONS
