The 120-strong Team UK returns home triumphant from the 2009 World Transplant Games held in Brisbane, Australia, winning a total of 216 medals in the adult category, and the 20 juniors topping their medal table winning an astounding 63 medals – 35 Golds, 17 Silver and 11 Bronze. This marks a fantastic achievement in a high-profile and competitive sports arena.

Sports Minister Visits Coventry to launch British Transplant Games Coventry has been chosen to host the Westfield Health British Transplant Games for the first time next summer and Sports Minister Gerry Sutcliffe MP will be guest of honour at the official launch of the Games, being held at the University of Warwick's new Indoor Tennis Centre on Wednesday 12 November 2008.
